Floyd “Money” Mayweather, Jr. is an animal. Floyd is currently 40 – 0. The means no body has beaten him.  He also has 25 knockouts. This is incredible for someone who is known for his speed. He is ranked the #2 pound for pound fighter in the world. Mayweather has plenty of accolades. He has won six world boxing championships in five different weight classes; he is the former WBC welterweight champion, a title he vacated upon his retirement. Just in case I didn’t say it HE IS UNDEFEATED!

Floyd’s potential opponent in this match is Pacquiao. Pacquiao is no bum. He has a record of 50-3-2. He has won 38 fights by knockout. Pacquiao has not lost a fight since 03/19/2005 and is ranked by Ring Magazine as the #1 pound for pound fighter in the world. To add fuel to the fire the Pacquiao is the better fighter, he is the only boxer to win the lineal championship (“the man who beat the man”) in four different weight classes.

The question that is hanging out there is who will win this epic battle? To me the answer is easy, Mayweather. You can’t be champion until you beat the champion. At this time Mayweather would win based on the fact that he is UNDEFEATED! Mayweather’s  speed is reknown and Pacquiao can’t match it. Floyd is a student of the sweet science. His defensive skills are underestimated. He is able to slip punches and then fire off combinations. I don’t think Pacquiao has fought anyone if his caliber
